Stork Cast ("we", "our", "the app") is a free web application for baby prediction games. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Email address — for authentication (email/password or Google sign-in)
• Display name and avatar — shown to other pool members
• Predictions — the guesses you submit (name, gender, date, time, weight, length, hair, eyes, lookalike)
• Usage data — pages visited, timestamps (standard server logs)

How we use your data

• To authenticate you and manage your account
• To let you participate in prediction pools with friends
• To calculate and display prediction scores
• To improve the app's performance and fix bugs

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (cloud-hosted PostgreSQL). All communication is encrypted via HTTPS. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only: an authentication session cookie (managed by Supabase), a locale preference cookie, and a theme preference. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method (subject to Google's privacy policy)
• Vercel — application hosting

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data

Data retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us. When you delete your account, all your personal data and predictions are permanently removed.
